502 Cars- Cars and Coffee @ Cox Park

502 Cars- Cars and Coffee at Cox Park

Over the weekend, I was able to go to the cars and coffee event at Cox park with a few friends. I recently got a new camera and decided to bring it to the event and test out its capabilities, so this post is going to be comprised of the best shots I was able to get. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!

This was really a surprise to see when I walked over to the parking lot! This happened to be the first GT500 I have seen out in the wild so far, however it was not the first one that I have seen as they have been at both the Chicago auto show and the Louisville auto show. I really love the redesigned front end with the canard-like splitter extension and front vents around the grille because it adds to both the extra performance for aerodynamics and to the looks. Shelby Mustang GT500

Mercedes Benz AMG GT, Porsche 911

This was another one of the pictures that I decided to edit a little bit, and I think that it looks really good. Changing the brightness of the colors slightly makes the picture have a really nice vintage vibe to it, which I was kind of hoping for. The fact that this is an old blazer really sells the retro but that I was trying to make this picture have. Chevy Blazer

Ford Focus RS

Pontiac Trans Am

Chevy Camaro ZL1

Corvette C7 Grand Sport

Audi R8 V10+

Camaro SS Z28

Lotus Exige

This was one of my favorite modded cars that I saw at the event because of how much it stands and how easy it is for it to catch your eye. I love the huge APR wing on the back with the extensions on the sides of the fins because it looks like someone chopped another wing in half and just strapped it onto the back of the big one. The interior is also an eye catcher with the paint splatter seat covers and custom shift knob and steering wheel that brings everything together. Other than that it’s just a normal Celica with some exterior modifications along the lines of badges and stickers. Toyota Celica

This edit is probably my favorite of the others that I have done because of how vibrant the colors are and how the really dark black contrasts with the burnt orange. This edit was only done with my phone, and I want to learn how to do edit on my computer so that they can look better. Shelby Mustang GT350

Aston Martin Vantage

Mustang Boss 302

Corvette C6

This was one of the drift cars that showed up and out of the bunch, and definitely my favorite. My favorite part of this car has to be all of the stickers on every open area of the body as it adds a sense of character to the vehicle that most other cars don’t have. As you can see from the bottom photo, this car is pretty much just bare bones with a seat, steering wheel, and dashboard while the rest of the interior has been torn out for weight reduction.
